Insertion of Section 55-A

12. After Section 55 of the Principal Act, the following Section shall be inserted in Chapter VII, namely:, "55-A

1. (1) No court inferior to that of a Magistrate First Class shall try any offence under this Act.
2. (2) No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act except on a report in writing of the facts constituting such offence by the Registrar or by a person specially authorised by him in this behalf.".
