Definitions.

In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,- (a) "displaced landholder" means a person whose means of livelihood have been substantially affected by reason of the acquisition of his land by the State Government for the purpose of any scheme or project of public utility, (b) "land" means waste land or land held for agricultural purposes but does not include orchards, groves or gardens.
