The Madhya Pradesh Reclamation of Lands (Extension to Bhopal Region) Act, 1957

This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Reclamation of Lands (Extension to Bhopal Region) Act, 1957, and it extends to the whole of the Bhopal region.

The Madhya Pradesh Reclamation of Lands Act, 1948 (XXVIII of 1948), shall extend to, and be in force in, the Bhopal region, and the provisions of the said Act shall apply to that region as they apply to the Mahakoshal region.

If there is any law in force in the Bhopal region which corresponds to the Act referred to in section 2, it shall, on the commencement of this Act, stand repealed.
