Disqualifications for directorship
The Madhya Pradesh Rajya Pashu Dhan Avam Kukkut Vikas Nigam Adhinayam 198216. A person shall be disqualified for being chosen as, or for being, a director of the Nigam if he— (a) has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude; (b) is an undischarged insolvent; (c) has any interest in any contract with the Nigam. The Managing Director, acting on behalf of the Nigam shall be deemed to be the appointing authority and shall exercise all powers of appointment of the staff of the Nigam: Provided that an appeal shall lie to the Chairman of the Board against the order of the Managing Director in this behalf, in such manner as may be provided by regulations.
