Appointment of Superintendents of Land Records and Assistant Superintendents of Land Records. —

  1. (1) The State Government may appoint to each district as many persons as it thinks fit, to be Superintendents of Land Records and Assistant Superintendents of Land Records.
  2. (2) The Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents of Land Records shall exercise the powers and perform the duties conferred and imposed on them by or under this Code or any other enactment for the time being in force.
