Chapter VI SAVINGS

1. (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the powers, rights and functions laid down in the Madhya Pradesh Irrigation Act, 1931 (No. 3 of 1931), the Madhya Pradesh Sinchai Prabandhan Me Krishkon Ki Bhagidari Adhiniyam, 1999 (No. 23 of 1999), the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (No. 23 of 1956), the Madhya Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1961 (No. 37 of 1961), the Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Raj Avam Gram Swaraj Adhiniyam, 1993 (No. 1 of 1994), and in any other law for the time being in force, or rules framed thereunder shall remain unaffected and shall continue to be in force.
2. (2) All actions taken by any person or authority under the Acts mentioned in sub-section
3. (1) prior to the commencement of this Act, shall be valid and enforceable notwithstanding the modifications to the said Acts made by this Act in regard to fixation of water tariff.

28.

1. (1) The Madhya Pradesh Jal Viniyaman Adhyadesh, 2013 (No. 2 of 2013) is hereby repealed.
2. (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the said Ordinance, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
