This Act governs intoxicants such as liquor and drugs in Madhya Pradesh. It regulates their import, export, transport, manufacture, possession and sale, which need a pass or licence. The Act covers excise duties, licence conditions, and the powers of excise officers to search, seize and arrest, and punishes offences.
