This Act establishes the Madhya Pradesh Ayurved Vishwavidyalaya, functioning as a statutory university to promote Ayurvedic education, research, and health services across the state. It provides for the incorporation, administration, and control of the university and its affiliated colleges through a structured governance system including Academic Council, Executive Council, and various other committees. The University Act regulates intake of students, teaching faculty appointments, examination procedures, affiliation of colleges, and academic transparency. (Section 1) It extends to the whole State of Madhya Pradesh and shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the State Government. (Section 1(3))
