The Kerala University

This law provides a temporary arrangement for the Senate and Syndicate of Kerala University when their terms expire or before they are reconstituted. It allows the state government to appoint an interim body to exercise powers and perform functions during this gap. The interim body includes ex-officio members, teachers, principals, student representatives, and eminent education sector figures. The Act repeals a previous ordinance but ensures that actions taken under it remain valid. It essentially ensures the university's governing bodies continue operating smoothly despite administrative transitions or vacancies.
