Amendment of section 1.-In sub-section (1) of section 1 of the Travancore-Cochin

Amendment of section 1.-In sub-section (1) of section 1 of the Travancore-Cochin Interpretation and General Clauses Act, 1125 (VII of 1125) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), the word “Travancore-Cochin” shall be omitted. Short title.-This Act may be called the Travancore-Cochin Interpretation and General Clauses (Amendment) Act, 1957.
