3. Amendment of section 7.—

In section 7 of the principal Act, for the proviso to sub-section (3), the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:— " Provided that no interest shall be charged on such amount if it is paid in a lump sum within thirty days next following the date of receipt by the tenant of the order of the officer appointed or authorised under sub-section (2) of section 9, settling the amount."
