Amendment of section 6

In section 6 of the principal Act,— (i) in sub-section (1), for the figure and words, "55 years of age" the words, "sixty years of age" shall be substituted: (ii) in sub-section (2), for the figure and words, "55 years of age" the words, "sixty years of age" shall be substituted: (iii) after sub-section (7), the following sub-section shall be added, namely:— "(8) The membership period of a member shall be from the date on which he enrolled as member in the Welfare Scheme to sixty years or the date on which he becomes eligible for pension, whichever is later.".
