1. Short title, extent and commencement.

( 1) This Act may be called the Indian Succession (Kerala Amendment )Act, 1996. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala . (3) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of section 213.
Statutory text
In sub-section (2) of section 213 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 (Central Act 39 of 1925), after the word 'Muhammadans', the words 'or Indian Christians' shall be inserted.
