Chancellor who is appointed under the provisions of this Act, assumes office.

The pro-Vice-Chancelior-(1) The Chancellor shall appoint a Pro-Vice-Chancellor for the University:

Provided that the person thus appointed shall not be above the age of sixty.

1. (2) The term of appointment of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be four years from the date on which he enters upon his office and shall be a whole time officer of the University.
2. (3) The salary and other conditions of service of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed by the Statutes.
