19 Ex-officio Members

1. (a) the Chairperson of the Municipal council; who shall be the president of the Municipal Sports council;
2. (b) the Deputy Superintendent or Assistant Commissioner of Police having jurisdiction over the Municipal Council area; 61 [(c) the Assistant Executive Engineer, Local Self Government Institutions having jurisdiction over the Municipal Council area;]
3. (d) the Regional Joint Director of Municipalities, having jurisdiction over the Municipal Council area;
4. (e) the District Educational Officer, having jurisdiction over the Municipal Council area;
5. (f) the Secretary of the Municipal Council, who shall be the Secretary of the Municipal Sports Council;
6. (g) the Tahsildar having jurisdiction over the Municipal Council area;
7. (h) Member of Legislative Assembly, representing the Municipal Council area. 62 [(i) the Health officer having jurisdiction over the Municipal Council area.] Nominated Members
8. (a) two persons having achievements to their credit in sports nominated by the Municipal Council, of whom one shall be a woman;
9. (b) one male student and one female student having achievements to their credit in sports, nominated by the Municipal Council; 63 [(c) two Physical Education Teachers in the Municipal area nominated by the Municipal Council, of whom on shall be from college and one shall be from school.] Elected Members (a) 64
