The Kerala Prevention of Disturbances of Public Meetings Act, 1961

(1) Thu Act may be called the Kcrala Preventton of Dtsturbances of Publtc Meetings Act, l961. (2) It extends to whole ofthe State ochrala. (3) It shall come into force at once.

(1) Whoever at a pubhc meeting acts in a disorderly manner for the put pose of prevent» mg the transactton of the buqness for what the mectmg wa: called together shall be guilty of an offence under thts Act and shall, on convieuon, be liable to impnsonment of etthet descrtptton for a term whtch may extend to one month or \vnh fine which may extend to one hundred rupees or with both. (2) Any person who mcttes other: to comm)! an ofiettce under tlns sectton shall be gutlly of a ltke offence. (3) Any Police Officer may attest wrthout Vwan ant a person who commits an ofl‘encc under tlns sretton.
