Insertion of new section 22.― After section 21 of the principal Act, the following section shall be inserted, namely:― “22. Repeal.― The Madras Pawnbrokers Act, 1943 (Madras Act XXIII of 1943) as in force in the Malabar District referred to in sub-section
- (2) of section 5 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 (Central Act 37 of 1956), is hereby repealed.”.
