Appointment of Assessing Officer.

The Government may, by notification in the

Gazette, appoint such officers of the Labour Department, not below the rank of Assistant Labour Officer Grade I or Officers of equal status as the Assessing Officers, for the purposes of this Act and shall fix the local limits of their jurisdiction.
