Amendments of section 28

Amendments of section 28. — In section 28 of the principal Act, after sub-section (9), the following sub section shall be inserted, namely: — “(9A) Subject to ratification by the Executive Committee the Vice-Chancellor shall have power to suspend the teachers and other employees of the University and to take disciplinary action against them. (9B) The Vice-Chancellor shall exercise supervision and control over the residence and discipline of students.”
