The said sum may be recovered as any other sum due to the Authority under the provisions of this Act.

Crediting betterment tax collected to the funds of the local authority Crediting betterment tax collected to the funds of the local authority.- Where the increase in value of any land is due to the execution of a development scheme made on the recommendation of a local authority and for which the local authority has placed at the disposal of the Authority the necessary funds for framing and carrying out such schemes, the betterment tax collected by the Authority from the owners of such land shall be credited by the Authority to the fund of the local authority.
