Research and Innovation Council

(1) The Research and Innovation Council shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, the Statutes and the Regulations and the Rules, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the Innovation and Research policies of the University. (2) The Research and Innovation Council shall consist of the following, namely:- (i) The Vice-Chancellor - Chairperson (ii) The Pro Vice Chancellor - Member (iii) The Dean of Research - Secretary (iv) Head of the Department of Innovation- Member (v) Deans of all Faculties - Members; and (vi) Such other members as may be specified in the Statutes.
