Whereas it is expedient to amend the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority Act, 2018 (Karnataka Act No. 12 of 2018) for the purpose hereinafter appearing: Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the Seventy sixth year of the Republic of India as follows :- 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority (Amendment) Act, 2025. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 3.- In the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority Act, 2018 (Karnataka Act No. 12 of 2018), in section 3, in sub-section (4), for clause (a), the following shall be substituted, namely:- “(a) The Chief Minister or Revenue Minister or any other Minister as chosen by the Chief Minister - Ex-officio Chairperson”.
