This Act sets up the Karavali Development Board for the development of the coastal (Karavali) region of Karnataka. The Board prepares development plans, approves schemes, and supervises and coordinates their implementation through an Implementation Committee. The Act sets out the Board's constitution, members' terms and meetings.
