This Act officially ends the Hyderabad-Karnataka Area Development Board Act of 1991 and replaces it with the Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Development Board established in 2013. It transfers all assets, liabilities, staff, and existing rules from the old board to the new one to ensure a smooth transition. The legislation applies to the Hyderabad-Karnataka region and ensures that government functions and administrative responsibilities are maintained without disruption by merging the two entities. It comes into force immediately upon notification.
