Appointment of Charity Commissioner and Joint Charity Commissioner.-

Statutory text
- (1) The Regional Commissioner, Belagavi Region shall be the Charity Commissioner.
- (2) The Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district shall be the Joint Charity Commissioner. 3. Amendment of section 5 In section 5, of the Principal Act,-
- (i) for sub-section (2), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(2) The Assistant Commissioner of the concerned sub-division shall be the Deputy Charity Commissioner."; and
- (ii) for sub-section (2A), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(2A) The Tahasildar of the concerned Taluk shall be the Assistant Charity Commissioner."
