Chapter I PRELIMINARY

- (1) This Act may be called the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1964.
- (2) Chapters I, II, III and VI of this Act shall come into force at once, and Chapter IV and Chapter V of this Act shall respectively come into force on such 1[dates] as the State Government may by notification in the official Gazette, appoint. 1. Chapter 4 came into force w.e.f. 1.12.1964 and Chapter 5 w.e.f. 2.12.1964.
