Over riding effect of the Act

Over riding effect of the Act.- Notwithstanding any compromise, agreement scheme, judgment decree or order of the court or other Authority or any custom, usage governing Shree Huligemma Devi Temple, the provisions of the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997 (Karnataka Act 33 of 2001) and the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Rules 2002. shall prevail in so far as they relate to religious practices of Shree Huligemma Devi Temple, Huligi village, which will remain as notified institutions under the provision of the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997 (Karnataka Act 33 of 2001) even after the commencement of this Act.
