Appointment of Secretary.-

1. (1) The State Government shall appoint an officer from the cadre of Karnataka Administrative Services (Super Time Scale) / Group A Senior scale Officer of Karnataka Government Secretariat Service / Group A Senior scale Officer of Endowment Department as the Secretary of the Authority and a Group ‘B’ Officer of the Endowment Department as the Deputy Secretary of the Authority.
2. (2) The Secretary and other officers shall receive such salary and other allowances as the State Government may, from time to time, determine.
3. (3) The State Government may, from time to time, grant leave of absence for such period as it thinks fit to the Secretary.
