Amendment of section 7

Amendment of section 7.- In section 7 of the Principal Act,-

1. (i) in sub-section (1),-

1. (a) after the word “Government”, the words “or the officer authorised by the Government” shall be inserted; and
2. (b) for the words “one thousand rupees”, the words “one lakh rupees” shall be substituted;
   • (ii) in sub-section (2),-
3. (a) after the word “Government”, the words “or the officer authorised by the Government” shall be inserted; and
4. (b) for the word “one thousand rupees”, the words “one lakh rupees” shall be substituted.
