Appointment of competent authority

The State Government may, by notification, appoint the Tahasildar of a Revenue Taluk or an officer of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries not below the rank of Veterinary Officer as the Competent authority under this Act for such local area as may be specified in such notification.
