The Karnataka Legislature Salaries, Pensions and Allowances (Third Amendment) Act, 2012
This Act amends the Karnataka Legislature Salaries, Pensions and Allowances Act, 1956 to increase pension and allowances for legislators. It provides bus passes, medical facilities, and travel benefits to legislators including Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Leader of Opposition, and Chief Whips of both government and opposition parties.
