Short title, extent and commencement.-
- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Electricity (Taxation on Consumption) Act, 1959.
- (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Karnataka.
- (3) The provisions of this Act, except section 13, shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of July, 1959.
