Election of members

(1) The election of practitioners entitled to be the members of the Board under clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 3, shall be held in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) The election under clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 3 shall be held according to the distributive system of voting. Explanation.—Distributive system of voting means a system of voting in which every voter shall be entitled to give as many votes as there are seats to be filled: Provided that no voter shall give more than one vote to any one candidate: Provided further that no voting paper shall be deemed to be valid unless the voter has recorded all the votes which he is entitled to give.
