Rules

Subject to the provisions of this Act; the rules may provide for all or any of the following matters namely:

1. (a) Admission of students to the University and their enrolment and continuance as such.
2. (b) The courses of study to be laid down for. all degrees, Diplomas, Certificates, Charters and other academic distinctions of the University.
3. (c) The award of Degrees, Diplomas, Charters, Certificates and other academic distinctions of the University.
4. (d) Creation of new authorities of the University.
5. (e) Accounting policy and financial procedure.
6. (f) The conditions of the award of fellowships; scholarships, studentships, medals and prizes.
7. (g) The conduct of examinations and the conditions and mode of appointment and duties of examining bodies, examiners, invigilators, tabulators and moderators.
8. (h) The fee to be charged for admission to the examination, Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates, Charters and other academic distinctions of the University.
   • (i) Revision of fees.
9. (j) Alteration of number of seats in different courses and programs.
10. (k) The conditions of residence of the students at the University or constituent college or affiliated college.
11. (l) Maintenance of discipline among the students of the University or a constituent college or affiliated college.
12. (m) All other matters as may be provided in the Statutes and rules made under the Act.
