Short title, extent and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Bihar Excise Act, 1915; (2) It extends to the whole of the Province of Bihar and Orissa including the Santhal Parganas and the district of Angul; and (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, direct.
