Bar of suit in Civil Court

No suit shall be brought in any Civil Court to set aside or modify any assessment or order made under this Act and no prosecution, suit or other proceeding shall lie against any officer of the State Government for anything in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act. Notwithstanding anything in any enactment governing the constitution or establishment of a local authority, no Local authority shall, on or after the commencement of this Act, levy any tax on professions, trades, callings or employments.
