Power to make rules
The Jharkhand Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2011(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purpose of this Act. (2) Every rule made under this Act shall, as soon as may be after it is made, be laid before the State Legislature for a period of 30 days which may be comprised in one session or in two successive sessions, and if before the expiry of the session in which it is so laid or the successive session, the State Legislature agrees for any modification in the rules or agrees that the rules should not be made, and its decision is notified in the Gazette, the rules shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be; provided that any such modification shall be without prejudice to the legal validity of anything previously done or deleted under these rules.
