झारखडगजट(असाधारण) बुधवार, 7 जुलाई, 2021 वध (वधान) वभाग -------- अधसूचना 7 जुलाई, 2021 सं#या-एल०जी०-05/2011-37/लेज०-- झारखंड 3वधान मंडल वारा यथा पाbरत और माननीय रा:यपाल वारा ;दनांक- 30/06/2021 को अनुमत झारख"ड व$युत शु(क (संशोधन) अध,नयम, 2021 का 5न6नांFकत अंkेजी अनुवाद झारखंड रा:यपाल के ा0धकार से इसके वारा काशत Fकया जाता है, िजसे भारत का सं3वधान के अनुlछेद 348 के खंड (3) के अधीन उcत अ0ध5नयम का अंkेजी भाषा मJ ा0धकृत पाठ समझा जाएगा। Jharkhand Electricity Duty (Amendment) Act, 2021 (Jharkhand Act - 05, 2021) An Act to amend the Bihar Electricity Duty Act, 1948 (as adopted in Jharkhand vide S.O. No. 117 dated 15.12.2000). Be it enacted in the Seventy two year of the Republic of India by the State legislature in the following manner:- 1. Short title, extent and commencement – (1) This Act may be called the Jharkhand Electricity Duty (Amendment) Act, 2021. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Jharkhand. (3) It shall come into force with effect from date of its publication in the official gazette. 2. Amendment in Section 3 After sub-section (1) of Section 3, a proviso shall be added in the following manner- “Provided further that, the Government may, by notification, add to or amend or alter any of the categories or rates in the Schedule appended to this Act.” 3. Amendment in the Electricity Duty Schedule (Rate of Electricity Duty) appended to the Act. The Electricity Duty Schedule (Rate of Electricity Duty) appended to the Act shall be substituted in the following manner:- The Schedule (See Section 3) Sl. No. 117 dated 15.12.2000) as amended Jharkhand Electricity Duty (Amendment) Act, 2021 Be it enacted in the Seventy second year of the Republic of India by the state legislature in the following manner-

1. Short title, extent and commencement – (i) This Act may be called the Jharkhand Electricity Duty (Amendment) Act, 2021. (ii) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Jharkhand. (iii) It shall come into force w.e.f. date of its publication in the official gazette.

2. Schedule "A" shall be added as new Schedule in Adopted Bihar Electricity Duty Act, 1948 as amended Jharkhand Electricity Duty (Amendment) Act, 2021 after the current Schedule in the following manner:- झारखडगजट(असाधारण) सोमवार, 21 फरवर-, 2022 Schedule A (Tariff in respect of captive consumption) Sl. No. Tariff Category Gross units of energy consumed or sold. Captive consumption by mining, commercial and industrial units, that have installed generating sets.
