The Jharkhand Apartment (Flat) Ownership Act, 2011

This Act governs ownership of apartments (flats) in multi-storey buildings in Jharkhand. Each flat is owned separately along with a share in the common areas, and can be inherited and transferred like any other property. It sets out the obligations of promoters, developers and allottees, requires a deed to be executed, and provides for sharing common profits and expenses and for complying with the association's bye-laws.
