8. Committee of courses 1) There shall be committee of courses constituted by the Council for each group of subjects or for each subject: 2) The committee shall give its recommendations to the Council for the approval of the State Government on the following subjects. a) scheme and courses of study. b) preparations of text books in accordance with the approved courses of study. c) improvement in methods of teaching and suggest latest technique; and d) other functions consistent with the purposes of this act as may from time to time be entrusted to it.
