Subject to such appeal every such declaration shall be conclusive.

Proceedings subsequent to declaration Proceedings subsequent to declaration.--When a declaration has been made in respect of any treasure and no other person has appeared as aforesaid, the treasure shall be given in accordance with the provisions hereinafter contained either to the finder thereof or both to the finder thereof and the owner of the place in which it has been found in the manner following:

1. (a) the remaining half shall be deposited in the Government Treasury, and the owner of the place where treasure is found shall be entitled to not more than half the treasure.
