The Jammu and Kashmir Transfer of Land (Validating) Act, 1954

This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Transfer of Land (Validating) Act, 1954.

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Poonch Alienation of Land Regulation, any transfer of land made by an agriculturist in the Poonch area in favour of any person whether an agriculturist or not, shall be deemed to be, and to have always been, as valid and effectual as if the Raja Sahib of Poonch had sanctioned such transfer in writing as required by the said Regulation.
