Stay of certain applications and proceedings relating to ejectment

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Jammu and Kashmir Tenancy Act, 1980, or any other law for the time being in force, all applications or proceedings relating to ejectment of tenants under section 49 of the said Act pending on the date of the commencement of this Act shall be and remain stayed for such period as the Government may by notification in the Government Gazette determine.
