Succession Certificate Act, 1977Validation of certain payments made in good faith to holder of the invalid certificate.—Where a certificate under this Act has been superseded or is invalid by reason of the certificate having been revoked, or by reason of the grant of a certificate to a person under section 19, or by reason of a certificate having been superseded under section 21, or by reason of a grant of probate or letters of administration, all payments made or dealings had, in good faith, in respect of debts or securities specified in the superseded or invalid certificate to or with the holder of that certificate in ignorance of its supersession or invalidity, shall be held good against claims under any other certificate or under the probate or letters of administration.
