Penalties

Any person who erects or proceeds with any building, structure or work in contravention of the scheme or without the permission referred to in section 10 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to Rs. 1,000 and in the case of continuing offence with further fine which may extend to Rs. 50 for every day during which the offence continues after conviction for the first commission of the offence.
