The Jammu and Kashmir State Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (Repeal) Act, 1987

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir State Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (Repeal) Act, 1987.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

The Jammu and Kashmir State Subordinate Services Recruitment Board Act, 1986 (Governor's Act. No. I1 of 1986) as amended from time to time, is hereby repealed.

(I) All persons who immediately before the commencemnt of this Act were appointed as the Chairman, Member, Secretary OF Officer or employee of the Board under the Jammu and Kashmir State Subordinate Services Recruitment Board Act, 1986 shall cease to hold such posts and to discharge such duties and all such appoilments made whether by extension in service or otherwise under the said Act shall stand terminated frbm the date of commencement of this Act : Provided that nothing in this sub-section shall apply to any person who is a Government servant and is on deputation to the bard. Such person shall revert to his parent cadre or department in the Government. (2) Any committee constituted or set up by the Board under the said Act shall stand superseded and shdl cease to discharge its functions and duties from the date of cornyencement of this Act.
