Short title, extent and commencement.
- (1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Probate and Administration Act, 1977.
- (2) It extends to the whole of the Jammu and Kashmir State.
- (3) It shall come into force on the 1st day of Baisakh, 1978.
