Statutory text
  1. (1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Prevention of Blackmarketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1988.
  2. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
  3. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 29th day of May, 1986.
