Provided that in the case of first Council constituted after the commencement of the Jammu and Kashmir Pharmacy (Amendment) Act, 1968, the members to be elected shall be nominated by the Government.

Incorporation of Council The Council constituted under section 3 shall be a body corporate by the name of the Pharmacy Council of Jammu and Kashmir having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, and shall by the said name sue and be sued.
