Short title, extent and commencement.--(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Opium Smoking Act, 2011.

  1. (2) It extends to the whole of the Jammu and Kashmir State.
  2. (3) It shall come into force from such date as may be appointed by the Government by notification in the Government Gazette in the behalf.
